BBNJ Agreement: From Adoption to Implementation in the Pacific

This session will examine the opportunities, challenges and priorities for implementing the BBNJ Agreement in the Pacific at national and regional levels. It will explore how governments, regional organisations, civil society, academia and development partners can coordinate support, share knowledge and avoid duplication, including the role of PIRT and its members. The session will generate practical recommendations and a roadmap for future PIRT engagement in support of effective BBNJ implementation across the Pacific.
