Integrating GEDSI into NBS for Climate Adaptation: Lessons from Community-Led Action for the Recent Regional Nature Framework

To examine how recent initiatives have tried to integrate GEDSI into locally-led nature-based across the region, to identify key learning (from both successes and failures) to strengthen and improve this integration in all its dimensions (Gender Equity, Disability and wider Social Inclusion), and develop few recommendations for the design, the implementation and the evaluation/adaptive management of gender-responsive and socially-inclusive impactful action (to feed in the recent Pacific Regional Framework for Nature Conservation 2026-2030, especially to ensure alignment with its principles #7, #2 and #3).
