Pacific Best Practices: Accelerating NBSAP Implementation - SPREP

The session will showcase practical country approaches that are strengthening and accelerating NBSAP implementation in Fiji, Vanuatu and Tuvalu. Facilitate identification of key success factors, implementation lessons and approaches that may be adapted in other Pacific islands countries. Provide opportunity for participants to highlight remaining implementation barriers and priority areas for regional cooperation, technical assistance, capacity development and financing. This will be an opportunity to also strengthen peer exchange among Pacific countries and inform SPREP's support for country-led NBSAP implementation and biodiversity-related reporting.
